Sharp N Skills Certification Training
What We Do and How You Will Benefit
The business of employee learning and development has changed dramatically due to rapidly advancing technologies in global and virtual training delivery. These changes are putting pressure on workplace learning professionals (WLPs) to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate training experiences in more immediate and impactful ways. While the underlying theories of adult learning have not changed, the delivery of learning in bite-sized pieces on a continual basis has become the primary driver for new WLP skills.
Why Sharp N Skills’s Certification Training
Sharp N Skills's The Certificate in Learning and Training Development provides the necessary skills for transferring learning to practical, on-the-job application; for developing effective learning experiences; for demonstrating ROI aligned with enterprise business objectives; and for engaging participants during learning experiences.
Certifications are usually earned from a professional society or educational institute, not the government. However, a government agency can decree a certification is required by law for a person to be allowed to perform a task or job.
Certification is different from professional licensure. In the United States, professional licenses are usually issued by state agencies, having as a requirement the university title for that profession.
In other countries, licensing is granted by the professional society or college, but you need to certificate after some years (usually three to five) and so on thereafter. The certification assessment process, for some organizations, is very similar or even the same as licensure and may differ only in terms of legal status, while in other organizations, can be quite different and more comprehensive than that of licensure.
One of the most common types of certification in modern society is professional certification, where a person is certified as being able to competently complete a job or task, usually by the passing of an examination and/or the completion of a program of study. Some professional certifications also require that one obtain work experience in a related field before the certification can be awarded.
Some professional certifications are valid for a lifetime upon completing all certification requirements. Others expire after a certain period of time and have to be maintained with further education and/or testing.
